Week of August 24, 2020 KPI Summar

This week, 9 ETFs closed and only 2 launched. With another large batch of closures, the open-to-close ratio continues to sink back down – this week it is at 0.95. Although the total number of ETFs dropped this week, US ETF assets and ETF ER 12-month revenue continue to climb. Assets stand at $4.85 Tn and revenue is at $8.92 Bn. This week, 6-month returns jumped up for both the Toroso ETF Industry Index and the S&P Financial Select Sector Index. For the Toroso ETF Industry Index, returns went from -0.54% to 14.52%. For the S&P Financial Select Sector Index, returns went from -19.87% to -3.30%.
